“I’ll be there someday, I can go the distance
I will find my way if I can be strong
I know every mile wIll be worth my while
When I go the distance, I’ll be right where I belong”
-Alan Menken / David Zip.

“Rush Rush!” The Chariot rider calls to her steeds. Charging through the misty terrain. Her want being the light that illuminates the darkness. Trusting her intuition. But what is impressive is not how she commands her horses or her knowledge of the road ahead but her will and trust she has with her horses. There is nothing that will get in her way. She learned the lessons of thew Lovers when it comes to decisions and balance and now she charges ahead. When this card comes in your spread it means massive movement and growth is ahead.
But I chose this card for a different reason. Every Tarot Card has an Astrological influence to it. In the Major Arcana, which this card is apart of, there are 12 cards that represent each sign. And the Chariot is represented by Cancer; The Season that we are in now.Â
I have wondered why at times as the Chariot and Cancers don’t seem to match. The Sign of Cancer is a Cardinal Sign which means they are the leaders of their element. Other Cardinal signs include Aries, Capricorn and Libras. But with Cancers, they take the charge when it comes to the emotional and and intuitive realms. Think of those who are Cancers; Are they very empathic and empathetic? So both the Chariot and the sign Cancer teaches us to take the initiative and connect with our heart to lead the way. This is why the Cancer is associated with the Chariot card.Â
As we approach this Cancer season, it is time to be like the Chariot. Look deep within your emotional selves. It is time to get in touch with your emotions and dive deep into what makes you you? So it is okay for you to need to let it out. And it is time to truly listen to your intuition this coming weeks.Â
Blessed Be on your JourneyÂ
